Working With Carmel

I originally started working with Carmel for help to build a strategy to climb back up the career ladder after a few years away from my profession. Over the past few months, Carmel has helped me grown in confidence and I have gradually built the courage inside to raise my profile within my professional environment. I love the way Carmel takes a very holistic approach to help guide and support me through my journey of reaching my goals and realising my aspirations. I highly recommend Carmel and her approach to coaching. She takes time to understand you as an individual and really focuses in on those things that may be holding you back from achieving your goals, be it personal or professional. Every session leaves me amazed at how much more I've learned about myself. She helps to put a clear actionable plan in place to move forward and ensure progression. I'm already seeing big improvements in a short space of time in my organisational, influencing, and leadership skills.

Coaching with Carmel has been one of the most powerful experiences. It is not often, that you can sit down and get completely present with yourself and have someone be there to listen to everything you are thinking and feeling. Through an immense amount of self-development, Carmel brings everything to the table, which makes an amazing coach, to help and support you to become a better version of yourself. She listened to what I wanted to work on and tailored her techniques to my particular situation. She always suggested sensible and practical ways to tackle my issues, and it worked! Working together with her, I could clarify my own priorities and better recognise the obstacles in my path. After only one session, I had a job interview, which I had mixed feelings about and Carmel worked with me towards a more relaxed approach and I got the job!

Carmel has a wonderful positive style about her. She instils a sense of confidence and ease in you that will allow you to search inwards and bring to the fore matters that will assist you to move forward in your life. Carmel does this is a highly professional, confidential and non-judgemental way. She will help you to gain greater clarity in what your objectives and goals are and how you might achieve them and move forward in your life.

I had the pleasure of working with Carmel at Apple. We worked closely on several projects together as well as day to day operations. What I most admired about Carmel is her ability to see the big picture- both in terms of work- projects etc, and from a holistic perspective- if you’re not happy at work, issues at home then they affect all aspects of your life- work and personal. She has an innate ability to know within a very short period of time what makes somebody tick- the core internal drive in a person , their priorities and effortlessly simplify any issues blocking their path. On top of that Carmel is such a passionate person- personable, very easy to communicate with and a razor sharp insight into what makes a person “tick”. I cannot recommend Carmel enough- she is a delight to work with and will quickly prove what a positive influence she is on any level- both personal and professional.

I had a coaching session with Carmel two days ago (4th March), and I'm glad I waited before writing a review (sometimes procrastination works in my favour)! First of all, I love Carmel's calm demeanour. She immediately puts you at your ease and is incredibly approachable. She asked me a series of questions and always made sure that she had understood my responses before moving on. Carmel was really validating and sprinkled our session with some lovely compliments. What was great was that she asked me what success would look like for me under her coaching and this is important. I like that Carmel values the spiritual development of her clients, which can often lead to the realisation of our external goals. The reason I'm glad that I didn't write this review earlier is that less than twenty-four hours after our session, I received a request for a string art commission, and a few hours later, a woman I'd emailed months ago about the possibility of working together got in touch with me out of the blue! Thank you, Carmel, for opening up something in me during our session!
